Wow it's been 2 weeks since I adopted Jim and he's very much at home, addicted to Dreamies and only escaped once!
Last Wednesday was a scary but proud evening Jim escaped out of the front door, explored all the front gardens followed by 2 mad women shaking boxes of Dreamies. Jim came home in his own time after exploring all the gardens!

Friday and the big adventure
We've been practicing using a harness for 3 days now and today Jim took his first few tentative steps outside! Jim is fairly indifferent about the harness but is mad about the Dreamies that he gets when he puts it on, while he's wearing it and when it gets taken off!!!!
Jim has also enjoyed fishing again

Some favourite spots
Jim has now started to establish his favourite spots
On the window sill but only when the radiator is on!
Incognito on the black cushion on the black chair
By the french windows in the sunshine
On the back of the chair for playing on the iPad
Safe behind the curtain if someone knocks on the door!

*Reserved* Jim is a sweet shy boy who would love to find a quiet forever home where he can settle in and truly relax.
With a little time and patience, Jim will make a wonderful companion. He is a timid cat who loves fuss when he gets to know you.
Once he learns to trusts you, he is very affection and loves your company. Jim will happily sit on your lap being stroked all day long!
He has happily lived with other cats before so could possibly be rehomed with another chilled out cat, but it is worth mentioning that since he was split up from his two brothers (who he wasn’t bonded with) his nature almost completely changed for the better and he became more confident and affectionate.
Jim might be ok being rehomed in a household with quiet older children who wouldn’t expect him to be cuddly or playful.
Jim would be ideal for someone who wouldn’t expect too much too soon, but would like to give a second chance to a sweet, quiet and very affectionate boy.'
